Small Groups

Small Groups

"Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in their midst." - Matthew 18:20

Pope John Paul II repeatedly expressed strong support for the development of small Christian communities over his twenty-plus year pontificate. In his Apostolic Exhortation, The Church in America he said:

"One way of renewing parishes, especially urgent for parishes in large cities, might be to consider the parish as a community of communities and movements."

With small groups being so vitally important to building Christian fellowship, we want everyone to find a group that suits your needs and schedule.

Amidst our parish there are all kinds of groups with which to get involved. From groups that are purely social to help you connect with our church community to groups that provide an opportunity to grow deeper in knowledge of the faith and discipleship. Many such groups are the fruit of the Holy Spirit working through various parishioners in starting groups on their own.

However, in terms of parish-organized groups, we offer two main types called Life Groups and Emmaus Groups. You can find out more about each below. Still, if you had something else in mind or want to start your own, feel free to fill out the interest form at the bottom of the page or reach out to us!
