Life Groups

Life Groups

As a community of believers we draw together weekly in our experience of the Mass, but we also understand that there is a lot of life lived in between our Sunday worship.  Our Life groups have become a place where people can form pockets of community with other members of our church.

What is a Life Group?

Life Groups offer a set group of adults, who may be from similar or differing backgrounds, the opportunity to meet once a month for about two years in order to support one another in an intentional community, grow in Christian fellowship, and explore faith in a welcoming and safe environment through open conversations, reading Scripture, sharing life experiences, and praying for one another.

What does it entail?

Typically, Life Groups meet once a month for two years. These meetings last 2-3 hours, which includes time for socializing as well as exploring Scripture and sharing conversations about various aspects of faith. Due to this time commitment we strongly recommend group meetings to be held over the weekend. If this would be your first time in a small group, it's a great place to start! If you have been involved before, it's a great way to build new friendships and strengthen existing ones within our community, all while growing in your faith and relationship with Jesus Christ.

Who can participate?

Groups typically consist of 12-18 men and women; married couples and singles; seniors and young adults; those new to the faith and long-time parishioners. The uniqueness and diversity in each member is recognized and celebrated. Group members are challenged and encouraged to be especially open and attentive to other members who may not share the same perspective or life stage, yet still remain committed to growing in Christian love, fellowship, ideals, and concern for each other.

Getting involved in groups at St. Paul's has allowed us to build community, learn from our peers, and strengthen our faith. We have built deep connections that make our faith life even more meaningful.

We are grateful for group offerings.
